    Physics Based Flash Development with Editor

    We once again teamed up with Oysterdome Games to produce a 2d adventure game based in a simulated physics engine. The framework for the game was developed to allow for multiple environment settings and assets. This will allow multiple games to be produced out of the same system.

    The game features an emulator/editor mode that allows for the creation of new levels and testing sound and behaviors for items, obstacles and enemies.

    BEHAVIORS
    The game comes with a set of predefined features such as Colliders (for detecting collisions), Health (lose too much, you die), Destroy (destroy another item), Patrol (move between two points), Impluse (like a fan), and many others.

    ASSET LIBRARY
    There is also a library where items can be previewed and placed into the game. This allows for external editing of animations and assets, then they are pulled into the game and given behaviors to make them interact with the engine.

    Flash Game Development – Home Run Derby

    We worked with Oysterdome games to create an interactive home run derby game. Built in Flash and Flex, we created a mock physics engine to render the ball flying through the air and simulated the zooming and panning. After you smack the ball to the camera will follow it like a real baseball game. See how many home runs you can hit before striking out.

    Flash Development – Soccer Shootout

    As a part of the ZooMyGosh.com world we worked with Oysterdome Games to create a soccer shootout based in a Flex 3D engine, where you choose from 4 meters to lob or curve the ball past opponents and into the desired target. As you continue the game gets harder and harder.

    ZooMyGosh – developing an interactive Flash game

    We began working with Oyster Dome Games in the fall of 2008 to help put together a project plan and scope for the ZooMyGosh interactive chat room game.  We are excited to announce that we have been brought on board to develop the Flash technology, multiplayer engine and website.

    The game will provide an interactive experience for kids allowing them to create their own avatars, meet up with friends to chat, play games, participate in online school curriculum and earn Schmecklas allowing them to customize their wardrobe and homes.

    Educational Word Game

    flash word gameLUX hired us to create an interactive word game that would be one of the features in an educational suite they were producing. It connected to a backend CMS system that could track the user’s progress and success.
